Job Summary
Senior Manager leading inbound logistics and freight claims, responsible for strategic leadership of Domestic Inbound Logistics and Supply Chain Claims; design and implement scalable procedures to meet growth and speed-to-market priorities; manage a transportation budget around $60M; oversee end-to-end transportation planning and execution for inbound merchandise; drive cost savings through load utilization and strategic mode conversion; improve speed-to-market; develop KPIs to drive productivity, cost effectiveness, and SLA adherence; oversee carrier negotiations on disputed claims with Legal; ensure compliance with contractual requirements in gate/receiving and freight claims processes; provide guidance to DC Operations; hands-on oversight of claims processing for carrier and facility damage; utilize carrier scorecards to monitor performance; participate in RFP cycles and onboarding of new carrier partners; Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years’ experience plus Manhattan TMS experience are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, related field or equivalent experience
- 10+ years related supply chain experience
- Manhattan TMS experience required
