Job Summary
Senior Manager, Identity and Access Management (IDAM) leads the IAM program, designing and overseeing strategy to safeguard systems, data, and applications. Oversees IDAM and IDAM Engineering teams, driving implementation of MFA, SSO, IGA, and PAM to ensure secure access for employees, contractors, customers, and vendors across global operations. Partners with IT and business units to align IDAM initiatives with security and regulatory goals (SOX, GDPR, PCI) and frameworks such as NIST CSF. Develops and enforces governance, policies, and procedures; drives continuous monitoring, auditing, and reporting of IDAM KPIs. Manages vendor relationships and procurement for IDAM solutions; collaborates with procurement, legal, and risk teams to ensure third-party access complies with policies. Builds relationships with global IDAM technology vendors and presents strategic insights to executive leadership. Leads cross-functional teams, mentors leaders, and communicates complex security concepts to senior leadership. Ensures scalable, secure access controls across cloud and on-prem environments and contributes to continuous improvement of IAM posture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in identity and access management, cybersecurity, or related areas
- including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- Experience leading global IDAM programs
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements such as SOX, GDPR, and PCI
- Experience managing third-party vendor relationships and evaluating IDAM solutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic leadership for cross-functional teams
- Recruiting, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams
- Knowledge of IDAM technologies such as MFA, SSO, IGA, PAM
- Experience with IDAM platforms like Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD
- Ability to design, implement, and manage identity lifecycle management processes
- Vendor management skills for IDAM solutions
- Experience building high-performing teams across cybersecurity, IT, legal, and business units
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Strong decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of emerging trends in IDAM
- Experience integrating IDAM with cloud and on-premises environments
- Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks (SOX, GDPR, PCI)
- Remote or office setting with up to 10% travel
