Job Summary
Senior HR leader to partner with plant leadership at the Glens Falls, NY manufacturing facility to drive organizational effectiveness, talent management, succession planning, and associate engagement. The role guides HR processes with COEs, leads workforce planning and design, collaborates with Talent Acquisition to meet hiring needs, coaches leaders, ensures equitable compensation practices, and ensures compliance with EEO/AAP. Responsibilities include developing short- and long-term HR strategies aligned with business objectives, delivering coaching across leadership levels, implementing development and engagement initiatives, monitoring attrition and retention, and driving performance management and policy execution in a manufacturing environment. Preferred credentials include PHR/SPHR and a strong foundation in local HR regulatory requirements and change management for large, diverse client groups. This position emphasizes on-site presence with a minimum in-office requirement, and requires collaboration across HR functions to support BD’s health-care manufacturing operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or Above in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, Law or related field
- 8-10 years HR experience with knowledge across HR functions
- Generalist background with experience in change management, organizational effectiveness/development, recruitment/selection, compensation, employee relations, performance management, HRIS, training/development, policy development
- Master’s degree in Business or Human Resources may substitute for five years’ exempt-level experience
- PHR or SPHR certification preferred
