Job Summary
Lead the strategy, governance, and optimization of the League's HR technology portfolio, serving as the primary technology partner for applications, systems, integrations, and business processes. Develop and execute a comprehensive HR technology roadmap aligned with organizational objectives while acting as a business analyst to gather requirements and translate needs into scalable solutions. Manage the implementation, configuration, and enhancement of Workday HCM and related platforms, ensuring full integration with the enterprise ecosystem and adherence to security standards. Identify opportunities to leverage artificial intelligence, automation, and analytics to modernize operations and enhance the employee experience, including evaluating AI-enabled tools like copilots and workforce analytics. Monitor industry trends to recommend future investments and maintain system documentation and user adoption programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience
- A minimum of seven years of experience supporting HR applications, systems, and business processes
- Three or more years of experience working with Workday products
- Experience administering and supporting Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Greenhouse
- Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technology solutions
- Experience evaluating and implementing automation, artificial intelligence, generative AI, machine learning, or other emerging technologies to improve business processes and employee experiences
- Experience with Workday HCM application features and business process configuration
- Strong understanding of HR systems, business processes, and the employee lifecycle
- Ability to understand business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements
- Experience evaluating and implementing automation, artificial intelligence (AI), generative AI, and emerging technologies to improve business processes and organizational effectiveness
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and communicate the business value, risks, and adoption considerations of emerging AI technologies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing sensitive employee data and applying appropriate security and privacy controls
- Workday certification(s)
- Exposure to Greenhouse
- Experience with AI-powered business applications, HR copilots, intelligent workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives
- Familiarity with generative AI platforms (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT Enterprise, Workday AI, or similar technologies) and their application within HR and employee service functions
- Experience leveraging workforce analytics, predictive modeling, or AI-driven insights to support talent acquisition, workforce planning, employee engagement, or organizational effectiveness
- Experience working with Asana or similar project management tools
- Knowledge of the sport of soccer
