Job Summary
Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Health & Safety Management System across the EMEA region, aligned to ISO 45001. Drive compliance by establishing inspection, audit, and monitoring programmes across offices, retail, and distribution environments while interpreting local legislation. Manage incident reporting, investigations, and follow-up actions to identify trends and ensure lessons learned are shared. Produce regular performance reports for regional leadership and partner with HR and business leaders on wellbeing matters. Manage a small regional team, coordinate with Store Development and Facilities for new openings, and act as the key contact for external regulators and consultants.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent experience
- NEBOSH Diploma (or international equivalent)
- Chartered Member of IOSH (or working towards) / equivalent experience
- Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation across EMEA, particularly within retail and office environments
- Experience conducting H&S audits (ISO 45001) and implementing corrective action plans
- Experience managing third-party providers and consultants
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements across multiple countries
- Experience working in a multi-country EMEA environment
- Strong influencing skills and ability to drive change across different stakeholder groups
- Experience working with enforcement agencies, insurers, and external auditors
- Clear, concise communication style with the ability to translate technical topics into practical actions
