Job Summary
Senior Manager in PwC Ireland’s Health Consulting team leads health projects from strategy to execution, guiding problem-solving, stakeholder management and delivery across health services, operational improvement and digital health initiatives. The role involves managing outputs and results against engagement objectives, timelines and budgets, building trusted relationships with clients and internal teams, driving business development and growth, applying health sector knowledge to deliver high-quality transformation and data-driven outcomes, and mentoring team members in a collaborative environment. The candidate should bring extensive health/healthcare sector experience, strong project/programme/change-management credentials, and a proactive, innovative mindset to solve complex client challenges while fostering external and internal relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience in health and social care sector
- Experience in professional services with health and social care exposure OR clinical/operational health background
- Knowledge of strategy, operating model, health transformation, digital health platforms, and health analytics
- Excellent client/stakeholder communication and management
- Experience leading/delivering large projects in major organisations
- Certifications in project/programme/change management (e.g., Prince2, PMP, MSP, Agile, PMI, Lean Six Sigma) or related tech/data analytics qualifications
- Ability to coach/mentor staff
- Willingness to travel up to 20% (implied by context)
