Job Summary
Senior Manager, Health Care Compliance Officer at Johnson & Johnson based in Titusville, NJ, provides strategic, risk-based guidance to Innovative Medicine teams and cross-functional partners to embed ethics and compliance into business planning and execution. Responsibilities include delivering actionable compliance options, translating regulatory requirements into practical guidance, leading or supporting risk assessments and monitoring, partnering with Commercial, Medical Affairs, Legal, Regulatory/Promo, Privacy, HR, and Finance to enable compliance by design, and fostering a culture of accountability. Requires strong knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, ability to influence across an organization, and experience developing or transforming compliance processes and governance. Travel about 10% and emphasis on training, coaching, issue escalation, and collaboration across control functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 8+ years of business experience, including 5+ years in healthcare compliance or related risk management functions
- Strong knowledge of healthcare compliance requirements, including federal healthcare program considerations and FDA-related requirements
- Demonstrated ability to influence across a matrixed organization, build trust, and partner effectively with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced, and evolving environments
- Experience supporting, contributing to, or leading elements of compliance programs including design, implementation, or transformation initiatives preferred
- Working knowledge of pharmaceutical commercial, medical affairs, and patient engagement models preferred
- Prior experience as an HCC or GCC officer/manager preferred
- CCEP accreditation or similar certification preferred
- Approximately 10% domestic travel
