Job Summary
Senior Manager, Government & Public Affairs in Mexico responsible for developing and implementing a government engagement strategy for LEGO Group operations in Mexico, managing engagement with government partners, tracking legislative and policy trends, and leading GPA advocacy plans. The role leadership includes interacting with senior management and cross-functional teams to align on outreach, position statements, and activities, and to drive strategic engagement with governments and related partners while supporting market opportunities and safeguarding the business. Requires a BA in related fields, substantial government relations experience, and fluency in English and Spanish. The position expects independent leadership of large, cross-functional projects and effective negotiation and conflict resolution with external collaborators.
Required Qualifications
- BA in International Relations, Government Relations, Political Science, Economics, Social Science or equivalent experience
- Significant experience working with government relations either in a government body (legislative or executive branch), trade association or corporation
- Strong oral and written communications skills in English and Spanish
- Experience in government affairs for manufacturing policy issues preferred
