Senior Manager, Government & Industry Affairs Operations to coordinate VGW’s government affairs activity across the United States. The role will bring structure, discipline, and a clear operating rhythm to a complex, multi-state lobbying network, ensuring external partners are well coordinated, accountable, and aligned to business priorities. You will manage day-to-day operations of external lobbying contractors, support compliance across lobbying activity (registrations, disclosures, state and federal requirements), establish a single source of truth for legislative tracking, and build dashboards and quarterly operating reviews tied to clear KPIs. You will develop detailed execution plans and ensure strong cross-functional alignment with Government Affairs, Legal, Marketing, and other teams, and drive accountability with external partners through performance tracking, budget oversight, resource allocation, and renewal decisions. The role requires 8+ years in government affairs, public policy, lobbying operations, regulatory affairs, or related fields, experience with multi-state coordination, strong organizational and vendor/contract management skills, and the ability to translate complex regulatory materials for non-technical audiences. The position is remote-friendly within the US.
