Job Summary
Senior Manager, Global Value and Access within Takeda Oncology. You will partner with the PVA Access Leads to design and execute global payer research to understand value drivers and requirements for early and sustainable access across geographies/indications; contribute the payer evidence strategy by payer archetype into asset evidence generation plans; collaborate on internal and external insights (e.g., HTA advice) to support clinical trial design input and evidence planning; develop core payer tools such as global value dossiers and payer objection handlers to enable reimbursement submissions globally; collaborate with Pricing on development of global pricing strategies through pricing research and modelling of multiple options; provide input into commercial and R&D strategies to differentiate products and maximize lifecycle value through critical pricing and access assessments; support PVA team with project management across workstreams to ensure timely delivery; assist internal readiness initiatives and preparation of internal communications materials for meetings with management and stakeholders; hybrid work arrangement based in Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in healthcare consulting or biopharmaceuticals industry
- Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in pricing, health policy, public health, health economics, and/or international affairs
- Understanding of global payer environment and US Medicare, commercial and Federal payers; ex-US payer landscape including HTA trends
- Knowledge of health technology assessment tools, methods and filings, payer and global pricing research, price modelling and cost-effectiveness studies
- PMA/HE regional or global experience
- Knowledge of all phases of drug development
