Job Summary
Lead a team of internal employees and contractors to create digital models for vehicle production programs within the Global Vehicle Development Process. Develop aesthetic surfaces that meet challenging time and quality requirements while delivering criteria-compliant math surfaces for engineering execution. Manage working relationships across multiple regions and studios to optimize resource allocation and foster a balanced workplace culture. Ensure digital sculptors adhere to PDM, glidepath, and Global Math Modeling Standards while leading recruitment, retention planning, and career development strategies. Provide strategic direction for team technical growth and collaborate with Program Managers to resolve issues supporting global program delivery commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree for Automotive Design, Industrial Design or etc.
- 8+ years digital sculpting experience, ideally leading programs
- 3+ years of experience managing a sculpting team handling multiple programs, with a track record of delivering complex global projects on time and with high quality
