Job Summary
Senior Manager, Global Scientific Materials and Alignment leads creation of medically accurate, fair-balanced external scientific materials and aligned messaging across platforms to support medical teams in local affiliates. Responsible for developing innovative content (slides decks, infographics, interactive PDFs, animations, video abstracts, podcasts), ensuring scientific accuracy and regulatory alignment, and guiding appropriate use of evidence and messaging. Collaborates with Clinical Development, medical affairs, regulatory, legal, corporate communications, and other groups to execute high-impact medical materials and maintain a global repository of external materials, with a focus on endocrine rare diseases. Requires advanced Life Sciences degree, 3+ years in Medical Communications/Medical Affairs (5-7 preferred), and strong project-management and digital-content skills. Hybrid role based in Princeton, NJ; salary range $175K-$190K with potential bonus and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Life Sciences (PhD/PharmD/MD/MSN) required
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience in Medical Communications or Medical Affairs, or as part of a Medical Communications agency required; 5-7 years is preferred
- Strong Organizational skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud, BioRender, and/or other programs used for illustrations, animations, graphics, and video editing preferred
- Expertise in Medical Communications projects including field medical team resources, advisory boards, congress/publication plans, conference symposia, and disease state education programs
- Comprehensive understanding of brand identity, editorial design, information graphics and data visualization, with experience developing engaging digital and web content, preferred
- Clearly communicate medical and scientific concepts in a concise, audience-appropriate way
- Keen analytical skills, especially involving scientific and clinical data
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Ability to work in teams and interface across corporate functions and geographies
- Exceptional ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- A high level of initiative and self-motivation
- Experience in rare disease or endocrinology preferred, but not required
