Job Summary
Senior Manager - Global Product Strategy for Technical Ceramics. Define strategic direction and growth priorities for the Technical Ceramics portfolio, align market opportunities with business objectives, and develop a multi-year roadmap balancing core portfolio optimization with adjacent growth opportunities. Translate customer, market, and technology insights into strategic choices, investment priorities, and actionable portfolio plans. Lead cross-functional collaboration with R&D, product management, marketing, operations, sales, and business leadership to translate strategy into execution; build business cases, monitor portfolio performance, and adjust priorities to improve growth and profitability. Strong emphasis on influencing cross-functional teams, and shaping a differentiated value proposition based on performance, reliability, and application-specific requirements. Requires on-site work at Maplewood, MN with up to travel and relocation may be authorized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, marketing, engineering, or science (completed and verified prior to start)
- Five (5) or more years experience in product management, product strategy, marketing, business strategy or R&D in an industrial, advanced materials, manufacturing, or technology-driven environment
- Additional knowledge qualifications that could help you succeed include MBA, PhD or relevant graduate degree preferred
- Relocation: May be authorized
- Legal authorization to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B)
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or PhD or relevant graduate degree (preferred)
- Five (5) or more years experience in product management, product strategy, marketing, business strategy or R&D
- Experience in technical ceramics, advanced materials, specialty materials, engineered components, or adjacent industrial markets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- People leadership or project leadership experience
- Legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B) (at posting)
