Job Summary
Senior Manager, Global FP&A role based at McCormick’s Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, MD, focusing on consolidated financial reporting, forecasting, and long-term planning. Partners with Regional FP&A, Corporate Accounting, Treasury, Investor Relations, and Global Strategy to drive alignment, transparency, and actionable insights across P&L, cash flow, and capital planning. Leads FP&A transformation through standardization, automation, and process improvements; champions best practices and scalable global standards; and develops members of the Global FP&A team through coaching and mentoring. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Business and 7+ years in FP&A or corporate finance, with strong Excel/PowerPoint skills and proven ability to influence senior leaders and work across geographies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in financial planning, analysis, or corporate finance
- Demonstrated experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling
- Strong understanding of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and interdependencies
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working proficiency in PowerPoint and Word
- Proven ability to influence and partner effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to work with incomplete or ambiguous information
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear insights
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and implement process improvements
- Strong collaboration and teamwork orientation
- MBA and/or CPA
- Experience with SAP, BW, TM1, or similar planning and reporting systems
- Experience in a multinational, matrixed organization
- Exposure to investor-facing financial communications
