Job Summary
Senior Manager of Game Design for League of Legends, leading a team of designers to ensure alignment of vision, strategy, and execution with player expectations and Riot’s design values. Mentor designers and design managers, uphold design craft standards, contribute to Design Department processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft resonant player experiences, balance player feedback with data insights and business objectives, and advocate for the design discipline both internally and externally. Emphasis on leadership, recruitment, and elevating the craft through rigorous design processes while focusing on delivering competitive, rewarding gameplay for players.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in game design roles in game development
- 3+ years of experience as a leader in a game design organization
- Experience working as a developer on a PVP game
- Experience in managing a significant team of designers
- Demonstrated and substantial experience recruiting new designers
- Experience working in a 'games as a service' environment
