Job Summary
Senior Manager, Fraud Solutions Engineering leads pre-sales efforts for risk, fraud, AML and cybersecurity solutions in financial services; responsible for solution design discussions, demonstrations, POC, technical validation, and end-to-end user experience walkthroughs. Partners with Sales during discovery to understand client problems, design technically sound, scalable fraud/risk solutions aligned to Visa capabilities, and supports proposals with technical content. This hybrid role requires several in-office days per week as determined by the Hiring Manager and includes 5-10% travel. Location: San Francisco, CA. Candidates should have substantial experience in payments/financial services fraud/risk solutions and be able to translate complex technical concepts into business value for non-technical audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree or higher with advanced degree or PhD as alternative
- 8+ years experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree or 2+ years with PhD (as per description)
- Experience in payments, financial services, fraud, risk, or security solutions
- Experience with APIs, integrations, or enterprise software architectures
- Strong technical mindset with solution selling/engineering/consulting experience
- Client-facing discovery/solution design experience
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally
