Job Summary
Senior Manager, Premix Formulations & Tech Support leads a high-performing formulators team, aligning formulation strategy with business objectives, optimizing premix designs for performance, cost and speed-to-market, and driving cross-functional collaboration with Sales and customers. Responsibilities include mentoring and developing the team, establishing standards and roadmaps, translating business objectives into formulation strategies, optimizing platforms for margins and lifecycle value, and engaging customers through technical discussions and materials. Travel up to 30% and a strong foundation in formulation science, nutrition, and related industries are required.
Required Qualifications
- Degree (B.S., M.S. preferred) in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field
- Advanced knowledge of nutritional ingredients including vitamins, carotenoids, omega-3's
- Significant experience (8+ years) in medical nutrition, dietary supplement, food, including related formulation and premix development environments
- Proven people-leadership experience managing and developing technical teams
- PMP certification is a plus
- Strong understanding of formulation science, ingredient functionality, and manufacturing
- Ability to travel up to 30% (domestic)
