Job Summary

Lead annual budgeting, long-range planning, and monthly forecasting while developing financial models for revenue, gross margin, and cash flow. Drive monthly and quarterly financial reviews to identify variances, risks, and opportunities, then provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership. Monitor business performance against strategic targets, develop KPIs and dashboards, and analyze product and portfolio profitability to support resource allocation. Partner with Commercial, Operations, and Business Development teams to evaluate pricing, market share, and new product opportunities through scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling. Lead financial evaluations of strategic initiatives, including licensing, partnerships, and acquisitions, by developing business cases and ROI analyses. Prepare monthly management reporting packages and executive presentations, ensuring clear communication of complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders and the Board of Directors.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A leadership responsibilities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

Desired Qualifications

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences
  • Experience supporting commercial operations, product portfolio management, and strategic planning initiatives
  • Demonstrated success partnering with senior executives and cross-functional leadership teams
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting expertise
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical industry economics, pricing, and product lifecycle dynamics
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar)
  • Experience with planning and reporting tools such as Adaptive Planning, Anaplan, Hyperion, Power BI, or Tableau
  • MBA, CPA, CFA, or other advanced financial certification
