Job Summary
Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) leads financial analysis focused on SG&A expenses and payroll, overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, and modeling to support strategic decisions for a high-growth manufacturing organization in the cannabis industry. Collaborates with Sales, HR, and Operations to forecast revenue and expenses; analyzes market trends; develops and maintains complex financial models; ensures regulatory compliance; utilizes ERP/HRIS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday, Isolved, ADP) and planning tools (Planful) to inform decisions and optimize SG&A and payroll. Requires 7+ years of experience, a finance degree at the bachelor’s or master’s level, and strong cross-functional communication to present insights to senior management. The role is hybrid with a schedule aligned to 9am-5pm, Monday through Friday, and may require extended hours for business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in financial analysis
- Experience in manufacturing sector preferred
- Strong understanding of SG&A, payroll, COGS
- Proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting tools (Excel, Power BI, Planful)
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle) and payroll/HRIS systems (Workday, Isolved, ADP)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional stakeholders
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and develop senior-level partnerships
- Experience with revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and financial regulation compliance
- Strong ability to analyze large data sets, perform variance analysis, and provide actionable insights
- Knowledge of total rewards strategies and their financial implications
