Job Summary
Senior Manager, Finance Technology Program Management leads end-to-end delivery of global Finance Technology programs, including planning, governance, execution, risk management, and post-implementation stabilization. Manages and develops project/program managers, sets priorities, and ensures high-quality delivery across the portfolio. Establishes program governance structures, including integrated plans, RAID logs, steering committees, and reporting. Partners with Finance, IT, and business leaders to define scope, milestones, and resource needs for strategic initiatives. Drives ERP and adjacent finance technology programs, including deployments, process harmonization, integration efforts, and business readiness activities. Identifies and mitigates common delivery challenges (scope creep, resource constraints, data quality issues, change resistance, integration dependencies, localization complexity). Oversees cross-functional coordination with process owners, solution teams, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely and controlled execution. Ensures programs align with audit, compliance, financial controls, and change management expectations. Supports portfolio prioritization and capacity planning by evaluating value, risks, and sequencing. Promotes standardized program management practices, templates, and reporting. Monitors outcomes and adoption metrics to realize benefits. Contributes to continuous improvement of delivery methods, stakeholder engagement models, and lessons-learned processes. Educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree; Master’s preferred; emphasis on finance processes, ERP implementations (SAP), and global program governance.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressively responsible experience in program or project management, technology delivery, ERP transformation, or finance systems implementation
- PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or similar project/program certification
- Experience leading global or multi-region programs with cross-functional stakeholder groups
- Strong understanding of Finance processes and operating models (close, record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, master data, controls, reporting)
- Demonstrated experience in ERP-enabled transformations (e.g., SAP or similar enterprise platforms) and related integrations
- Experience building and managing integrated delivery plans, governance forums, issue management, and executive communications
- Strong grasp of program delivery disciplines across requirements, design, testing, deployment, cutover, hypercare, and adoption
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
