Job Summary
Senior Manager, Finance Platform Solutions leads the strategy and governance for Finance technology, guiding initiatives to maximize value from current platforms and AI capabilities. The role centers on bridging finance expertise with technology to transform finance processes, extending capabilities of existing systems, integrating finance applications, and deploying low-code automation. Responsibilities include leading the Manager, Workday Finance Solutions, aligning Finance processes with strategic objectives, and driving modernization through modernization of ERP/EPM, analytics, and automation across Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Actual. Collaboration with Technology and Finance leadership, change management, stakeholder engagement, and championing AI/automation adoption in Finance are core; the role emphasizes delivering measurable value from Finance platforms (Workday, SimCorp), and ensuring governance, adoption, and scalable solutions.
Required Qualifications
- University/college degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Information Systems
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and /or PMP designation is preferred
- 7–10 years of progressive experience bridging finance operations and technology
- Experience with investment management platforms (e.g., SimCorp) and consultancy in Finance function a plus
- Experience leading end-to-end implementation of Finance technology solutions (ERP, EPM, analytics, automation)
- Workday Financials experience strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPM tools (Workday Adaptive Planning or similar)
- Experience identifying or implementing AI/automation use cases in finance (RPA, API integrations, ETL, Power Platform)
- Understanding of Finance processes across R2R, S2P, Plan-to-Actual
- Experience in asset management, pension, or regulated financial services helpful
