Job Summary
Oversee financial reporting and month-end closure, ensuring accurate reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation in compliance with IFRS and GAAP. Lead business finance and FP&A activities, including budgeting, variance analysis, and strategic forecasting to drive business decision-making. Manage treasury and fund flows, executing daily cash management, liquidity planning, and cash forecasting while mitigating FX and interest rate risks. Prepare and review tax returns, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and deadlines. Strengthen internal controls by assessing risks, drafting policies, and implementing improvements within SOX and COSO frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 8 - 10 years of proven experience in a Big 4 Audit/Advisory role followed by controllership or leadership roles in mid to large scale startups or enterprises

- Strong understanding of accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Experience with reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation
- Business Finance / FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis)
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills
- Business acumen and strategic thinking
- Excel and financial modeling expertise
- Experience in budgeting, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Ability to partner with business units and communicate insights
- Knowledge of cash management and liquidity planning
- Familiarity with banking platforms and financial instruments
- Risk management understanding (FX, interest rate exposure)
- Experience in daily fund movement and cash forecasting
- Understanding of SOX, COSO, or similar control frameworks
- Risk assessment and audit experience
- Policy drafting and implementation
- Ability to identify control weaknesses and suggest improvements
- Knowledge of direct and indirect tax laws
- Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to fintech, B2B SaaS, or capital markets is highly desirable
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
