Job Summary
Senior Manager-Finance oversees the District’s accounting, treasury, purchasing, and financial reporting functions; leads day-to-day accounting, supports budget development and multi-year forecasting, supervises Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Purchasing Departments, coordinates annual audits and state reporting, and serves as acting Director in absence. Requires strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency with ERP/financial systems (e.g., Skyward Qmlativ), advanced Excel, knowledge of governmental/fund accounting, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a public K-12 district setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in business administration, finance, or closely related field and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, treasury or fiscal management, including supervisory experience
- Baccalaureate degree in business administration, finance or closely related field and four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, treasury or fiscal management, including two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Associate’s degree in accounting, business administration, finance or closely related field AND six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in accounting, treasury or fiscal management, including two (2) years of supervisory experience
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, or experience will be reviewed for comparability.
