Senior Manager, Facilities Infrastructure

Job Summary

Coordinate daily with the general contractor, sub-trades, and construction management on schedule, scope, and issue resolution. Partner with engineering on construction-to-operations handoff, including punch lists, system commissioning, OEM acceptance testing, and warranty tracking for HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, and building envelope systems. Build the site's foundational documentation set, stand up the CMMS, and sequence facility readiness against the production ramp. Build and lead a high-performing facilities and maintenance team, execute multi-site maintenance strategy, and own site-level KPIs for uptime and PM compliance. Drive uptime across complex production equipment, lead troubleshooting of critical failures, and run structured communication cadences for downtime escalation and root cause analysis. Manage vendor relationships, contractor access, and spare parts strategy while ensuring compliance with aerospace, environmental, and life-safety regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of facilities or maintenance experience in industrial manufacturing
  • at least 5 years in a site or multi-site leadership role
  • Experience operating or commissioning a facility of 500K sqft or larger with mixed production and complex utility infrastructure
  • Direct experience with HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution including medium-voltage substations, overhead cranes, and building automation systems
  • Demonstrated experience as the operations-side counterpart to a general contractor on a new build or major expansion
  • Track record of scaling high-performing technical teams in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Working knowledge of CMMS platforms and maintenance workflows
  • Experience in highly regulated industries such as aerospace, defense, or medical devices
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial maintenance, construction management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
  • U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience standing up a new manufacturing facility from construction handoff through stabilized operations
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance, condition monitoring, and reliability engineering practices
  • Trade certifications or licenses (electrical, HVAC, EPA refrigerant, crane operator, or equivalent) directly held or strongly familiar
  • Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, TPM, or continuous improvement methodologies
  • Experience managing large vendor and OEM service contracts
  • Strong understanding of CNC machinery, welding and sheet metal equipment, assembly automation, and the mechanical and controls systems behind them
