Job Summary
Lead estimating and resource planning for new construction projects by developing and validating labour, material, and overhead estimates for bids, proposals, and contract changes. Establish labour rates, interpret project scope, and apply methodologies to determine production costs while maintaining estimating databases and productivity metrics. Drive medium- and long-term resource forecasting to support capacity planning, align plans with project schedules and capital investments, and deliver management reporting and dashboards to support strategic decision-making. Mentor team members and improve processes, tools, and governance across planning, finance, operations, engineering, and supply chain functions. Fully on-site at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver, with a salary range of $145,786-$209,567.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, project management, operations management or a related field
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in estimating, resource planning, project controls, production planning, facilities planning or project management within shipbuilding, marine, defense or large industrial manufacturing environments
- Minimum 5 years of management, supervisory or functional leadership experience, including leading teams, developing capability and influencing across a matrix organization
- Demonstrated experience supporting bids, proposals, contract change work, resource forecasts, Integrated Master Schedules and/or Earned Value Management in complex project environments
- This position is required to be fully on-site based at 50 Pemberton Avenue, North Vancouver
