Job Summary
Senior Manager EVS responsible for directing the Environmental Services department, leading the EVS leadership team to achieve operational and financial goals, ensuring high guest satisfaction and adherence to MGM Resorts service standards. Day-to-day duties include implementing policies and procedures, OSHA compliance, labor standards, scheduling, training, coaching, employee engagement, succession planning, performance feedback, and leading initiatives to improve departmental performance. Ideal candidate will provide leadership and direction to maintain guest experience within EVS operations, interview/select/train/counsel/coach EVS staff, and contribute to research and implementation of new products, services, and processes to maintain competitive position in a complex hospitality environment. Must have strong leadership, budgeting/financial oversight, team development, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- 2+ years of prior management experience in a hotel environment
- leadership experience in EVS or equivalent
- knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations
- experience with workforce planning, coaching, and development
- ability to interview, train, supervise, and coach staff
- strong customer service orientation and guest experience focus
- familiarity with hotel property management systems and yield management (preferred)
- ability to lead improvement initiatives and drive operational performance
