Job Summary
Senior Manager Environment role focused on leading environmental advisory services for Sydney Metro's major infrastructure programs. Responsibilities include providing strategic and technical leadership to a team of environmental specialists and consultants; embedding best practices for environmental management, sustainability processes and policy; guiding project teams technically; and partnering with government agencies, councils and communities to shape compliant, innovative planning solutions aligned to NSW Government priorities.
Required Qualifications
- tertiary qualified in environmental, natural resource, planning, environmental engineering or similar discipline, or equivalent experience
- proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams delivering environmental advisory services for large-scale infrastructure projects
- strong understanding of legislation, policy, environmental impact assessment and environmental management practices
- ability to collaborate with and influence senior stakeholders across government, industry and community environments
- project management skills with experience managing consultants, contracts and concurrent project demands
