Senior Manager, Environment, Health and Safety

Job Summary
Lead EHS program for a prominent banking client; oversee the HSE program and operations across a portfolio, serve as the primary EHS point of contact, and drive compliance and training initiatives. Based in Chicago with monthly meetings at the client's downtown Chicago headquarters and occasional site visits across North America (20% travel or less). Responsibilities include maintaining hazard/PPE assessments, regulatory compliance registers, training development and delivery, OSHA 301/300 recordkeeping as Account Administrator for WorkSafe, incident investigation support, and facilitating lessons learned across account operations.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of ESH experience including supervisory experience
- Degree in safety management, industrial hygiene, environmental science, or relevant field
- Proven project management skills for balancing multi-site activities
- Broad-based knowledge of Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven record of making presentations and providing effective training
- Ability to effectively and cooperatively interface with peers, colleagues, and clients
- Analytical and creative problem-solving skills with ability to employ intelligent flexibility
- Willingness to travel periodically to various operations sites (estimated 10% to 20%)
