Job Summary

Develop and standardize global EHS program documents and risk-based controls while partnering with Standards & Governance to create measurable program requirements. Execute an enterprise assurance strategy by defining audit frameworks, scoring models, and acceptance criteria to validate system implementation and regulatory compliance. Establish performance dashboards and monitoring platforms to track leading and lagging indicators, then drive the closure of audit findings and corrective actions across regional teams. Lead cross-functional initiatives to align global standards with local operational flexibility and translate performance data into actionable insights for business leaders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental, Health and Safety or a related degree in science/engineering discipline
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EHS program development, assurance, or systems leadership
  • Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-level EHS programs and management systems
  • Deep experience in audit, compliance, and assurance frameworks (ISO 45001 / ISO 14001)
  • Equally deep experience in collaborative leadership and influencing behavioral change
  • Strong understanding of risk-based EHS systems and high-risk activity frameworks
  • Demonstrated success operating in a global, matrixed organization
  • Exceptional technical writing and document development skills
  • Ability to translate complex requirements into practical, field-usable guidance
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders across Construction and/or Operations environments
  • Must have current working knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards
  • Must have familiarity with consensus standards such as those published by ANSI and NFPA
  • Effective ability to operate beyond a compliance-based health and safety management approach
  • Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline
  • Independent, self-directed, and highly organized
  • Ability to manage complex, multi-track programs simultaneously
  • Strong presence and communication skills in professional settings
  • Operates effectively with ambiguity and change
  • Must be able to occasionally stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop or kneel; talk and hear
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Travel required is expected to be up to 10%, global travel may be required

Desired Qualifications

  • Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) certification (OHST, CHST, ASP, or CSP)
  • Coursework in risk management or safety
  • Familiarity with Procore & Power BI
