Senior Manager, Ecommerce Fraud

Job Summary

Own and evolve the end-to-end ecommerce fraud prevention strategy and roadmap across account takeover, payment fraud, and emerging threats. Define risk appetite, governance frameworks, and decisioning standards to ensure consistent, compliant, and audit-ready controls. Lead a high-performing team to analyze fraud signals, translate insights into scalable policies, and conduct deep-dive analysis of attack patterns and anomalies. Partner with Sales, Customer Care, Finance, IT, and external vendors to strengthen detection capabilities and execute controlled experiments optimizing fraud response while balancing risk reduction with customer experience. Monitor key performance metrics including fraud loss rates and detection accuracy, communicating trends and actionable recommendations to senior leadership. This hybrid role supports the company's digital commerce platforms and customer trust initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) in Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 8 years
  • Experience in managing fraud prevention, detection, payment risks, or financial crimes
  • Experience with Ecommerce and platform risk management
  • Experience collaborating with international and cross-functional partners to drive policy, process, and technology improvements
  • Minimum 3 years
  • People management experience
  • Building and leading high-performing teams, fostering clarity, accountability, and resilience
  • Strong understanding of account takeover risks, suspicious activity patterns, and fraud prevention methodologies
  • Familiarity with industry-leading tools and third-party risk vendors for fraud detection and analysis
  • Industry knowledge, experience and passion for fraud prevention, identity verification, or transaction risk logic
  • Knowledge of Ecommerce Payment Systems (Ex. Salesforce Stripe)
  • Knowledge of fraud prevention system resources (Ex.Radar)
  • Knowledge of CRM systems
  • Ability to build trusting relationships with peers, teams, and leaders
  • Ability to lead through influence, inspiration, experience, and collaboration
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to take initiative
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data insights and risk strategies to diverse stakeholders and executives

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Mathematics, Risk Management, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline -Preferred
