Job Summary
Lead large-scale, cross-functional AI research programs from initiation to execution, securing alignment on scope, release planning, and strategic vision across Product, AI Research, and TechOps teams. Drive weekly product review meetings to remove obstacles, address dependencies, and make key decisions while providing ongoing visibility on program status, risks, and metrics. Anticipate and eliminate blockers preventing delivery, manage "program/feature" dependencies across multiple functions and time zones, and deliver monthly program reviews with deep dives into goals and escalations. Partner with executive management and functional stakeholders to ensure business goals are met and foster a collaborative environment for innovation. Support teams in Singapore and California with flexible evening hours and occasional international travel to Palo Alto.
Required Qualifications
- Overall professional experience of 10 to 15 years
- At least 7+ years of recent professional work experience leading large enterprise product programs
- Experience in a research, AI/ML, or technology organization
- Knowledge of AI concepts and research culture
- Outstanding organizational, communication, and relationship building skills
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional, executive level environment
- Comfortable giving and preparing exec level presentations
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- History of hands-on, detail orientation
- Ability to derive insights from data
- Expertise in using project management and data analysis tools
- Ability to establish credibility and rapport with senior executives and technical and non-technical team members alike
- Ability to master technical subjects and technologies relevant to the program
- Ability to successfully partner with all functions across the entire company and across multiple time zones
- Strong time management, analysis, and planning skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or related disciplines
- Equivalent experience in technical leadership roles
- Ability to work outside of standard work hours multiple days per week
- Flexibility in the evenings
- Travel 4x per year to Palo Alto for in-person meetings
- Ability to travel internationally if required for the scope of managed programs
