Job Summary
Design, write, and produce high-quality marketing collateral including pitch decks, proposals, and case studies while maintaining a centralized library of firm content. Build visually sophisticated client-ready presentations under tight deadlines and establish brand standards across all firm messaging and digital presence. Develop and execute firm-wide business development plans informed by market research, prepare attorneys for client meetings, and represent the firm at pitches, conferences, and industry events. Manage legal directory submissions, optimize CRM and marketing technology, and track pitch activity and pipeline results. Drive cross-selling initiatives and coach partners on positioning and follow-up discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, English, Journalism or a related field
- Seven plus years of progressive marketing and business development experience
- substantial experience in a law firm environment
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop or Canva
- Experience with Salesforce CRM or other comparable marketing platforms
- Familiarity with website content management systems, search engine optimization fundamentals, email marketing and digital analytics
- Willingness and ability to travel for conferences, client meetings and firm events, including occasional overnight and out-of-state travel
- Mondays mandatory
Desired Qualifications
- Legal Marketing Association certification
- Mid-sized law firm experience
- Demonstrated record of producing pitch and proposal materials that resulted in new client engagements
- Demonstrated experience working directly with and influencing senior decision makers
- Experience with competitive intelligence and research resources such as Monitor Suite, Pitchbook or Lexis
