Job Summary
Lead the global Gas Seal Support Systems (GSS) Engineering function across pre-order and post-order activities, owning the end-to-end engineering lifecycle from RFQ through design, customer approval, manufacturing release, and final documentation. Manage and develop a global team of Engineering Managers, Supervisors, Team Leaders, and Engineers while serving as the technical Subject Matter Expert for gas seal systems and process industries. Drive engineering excellence, productivity improvements, and business growth through standardisation, continuous improvement initiatives, and the execution of strategic Priority Action Lists. Accountable for engineering performance metrics including On-Time Delivery, quality, and cycle time, while leading capacity planning, workload management, and resource allocation. Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Project Management, Procurement, and Manufacturing teams to align priorities and resolve technical challenges, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, ISO standards, and EHS requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Instrumentation Engineering
- 20+ years engineering experience
- 5+ years in leadership roles
- Strong expertise in gas seal systems and process industries (oil & gas, chemical, pharma, turbomachinery)
- Strong understanding of engineering processes, business drivers, and industry standards
- Proven leadership and team management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage global teams and work in a multi-region environment
Desired Qualifications
- Good Knowledge of API 614 & 692 (preferred)
- Strong understanding of instrumentation and system integration
- Familiarity with engineering tools / project management systems
- Knowledge of Dry gas seal panel & Its component and instrumentation
