Job Summary
Support and manage a team of Development Accountants by providing leadership, mentorship, and defined growth plans. Ensure financial close compliance with internal controls while maintaining thorough knowledge of all project portfolio aspects. Manage project proformas, including scenario modelling and cash flow projections, and analyze project performance to identify risks and opportunities early. Prepare and review partner and financial reporting, review construction loan draws, and liaise with cost consultants and lenders. Enhance internal processes, strengthen controls, and coordinate multiple audits for the project portfolio. This role requires a CPA designation and at least five years of experience in a similar management role within real estate development accounting. Base salary is $135,000 – $155,000 per annum. Anthem is a real estate development and investment company with a diverse portfolio across North America.

- Accurate, organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Experienced working with and optimizing a modern ERP environment
- At least five (5) years of experience in a similar management role
- Proven ability with leadership
- A CPA Designation
- Real Estate development accounting experience, including financial modelling, cash management and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability in handling high volume in a fast-paced work environment with multiple competing demands
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills; must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
- The ability to present project information to various levels of Anthem management and are comfortable taking an active role in meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Yardi is preferred
