Job Summary
Senior Manager – Data Science & Generative AI at Securonix: lead a 15+ year veteran Data Science and AI organization, defining the AI/ML and GenAI roadmap, and delivering production-grade AI solutions including LLMs, RAG systems, and AI Agents. Build and mentor high-performing Data Science and AI teams, partner with Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams to scale AI capabilities, and establish governance for AI adoption, security, privacy, and ethical practices. Set standards for model evaluation, lifecycle management, prompt engineering, guardrails, hallucination mitigation, and observability while driving organizational transformation through AI.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Software Engineering, AI/ML, and Data Science, with 5+ years leading large technical teams
- Strong architecture understanding and hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies, including LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI, Prompt Engineering, LangChain, LangGraph, and Vector Databases
- Deep expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, Statistical Modeling, and production AI systems
- Strong background in Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture, and Cloud-native application development
- Extensive experience with AWS (mandatory), Python, Kubernetes, Data Pipelines, and MLOps
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Proven experience managing managers, senior engineers, and data scientists
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience driving organizational transformation through AI adoption
- Experience building AI-powered SaaS products at enterprise scale
- Background in Cybersecurity, Security Analytics, or related domains is a plus
- Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
- Strong stakeholder management, strategic thinking, and organizational leadership skills
