Job Summary

Senior Manager of Data Management responsible for leading DM activities across LATAM (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru) including planning, execution, and oversight of data management contracted activities. Act as the DM lead point of contact for internal teams and sponsors, supervise data managers, support contractual/financial aspects of projects, review proposals and change orders, oversee data entry and quality, ensure timelines and deliverables, coordinate cross-functional and client communications, contribute to training, standards, and process improvements, and mentor staff. The role requires strong leadership, ability to manage multiple projects, and expertise in clinical data management practices, CDISC standards, data governance, and regulatory compliance; travel may be required.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Data Management experience
  • 3+ years of line management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree with clinical trial experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data management systems
  • Knowledge of clinical data management processes and standards (CDISC/CDASH/SDTM/ADaM)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
  • Ability to train and develop staff and manage cross-functional teams
  • Experience with RFPs, proposals, and budget considerations
  • Willingness for domestic and international travel

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with direct clinical trial experience in a CRO or Pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in managing people within a scientific/clinical background
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Experience with clinical data management systems
  • Knowledge of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM, etc.)
  • Oncology and/or Orphan Drug therapeutic experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
