Senior Manager, Corporate Communications

Job Summary
Develop and execute integrated corporate communications strategies to strengthen SJ's brand, reputation, and market positioning. Partner with senior leaders on executive messaging, speeches, and strategic announcements while building relationships with media to showcase thought leadership. Lead media engagement activities, manage reputation risks, and oversee industry events, sponsorships, and awards to ensure a coordinated Group presence. Provide strategic communications counsel to stakeholders and maintain oversight of corporate content across owned channels. Support internal communications, including leadership forums and major change initiatives, to drive employee engagement. This role reports to the Director, Global Communications, with a focus on positioning SJ as a trusted voice in the built environment sector.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline
- At least 10 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations or strategic communications
- Experience supporting senior executives and developing high-impact leadership communications
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills across multiple channels and audiences
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including experience working with senior leadership
- Track record in media relations and engagement with journalists and industry stakeholders
- Experience managing complex projects across multiple markets and stakeholder groups
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a multinational, consulting, professional services or built environment organisation
