Job Summary
Lead drafting, generation, interpretation, and management of highly complex proposals and contracts to ensure they reflect business objectives and adhere to negotiated parameters. Collaborate with the Integrated Program Team to coordinate input during the proposal and contract process, while managing analysis and preparation of contract documentation within government cost control guidelines. Direct work product of less experienced professionals through coaching, mentoring, and rigorous review to ensure output quality. Lead proposal preparation, contract negotiation, administration, and customer contract activities to secure acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Advise the organization on contract matters and assist leadership in training employees on contract law adherence. Maintain historical contract records and implement business strategy in conjunction with legal and regulatory processes.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen, U.S. Person, or Immigration Status Requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience
- Must have or be capable of obtaining a US Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance
- Candidate selected will be subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and must meet eligibility requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Business Administration or Juris Doctorate
- Extensive experience with U.S. Government contracts, including FAR and DFARS
- Currently (or within the last 24months) hold a United States Government Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance
