Job Summary
Oversees the construction of medium-to-large complexity nuclear and non-nuclear projects in the U.S. from conception to completion, including coordination of field engineering, site work packages, safety, and training; manages budgets, schedules, in-house and subcontracted work, and stakeholder relationships; ensures compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements; requires extensive delivery-model experience (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery), and proficiency with scheduling tools (Primavera P6, MS Project); position based in Oak Ridge, TN with on-site requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management
- Twelve plus years of general work experience
- At least ten years of experience in construction project management
- Experience with Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery
- Experience developing and managing project budgets, tracking costs, and ensuring contract alignment (GMP)
- Civil/structural and electrical experience in a commercial facility setting
- Advanced expertise in project planning and scheduling (Primavera P6, MS Project)
- Field leadership and coordination (site mobilization, safety enforcement)
- Ability to meet physical demands on active construction sites
- Strong safety background and PPE adherence
