Job Summary

Lead M&A due diligence by representing HR on Corporate Development deal calls, owning the HR diligence workstream, and serving as the primary liaison with Corporate Development and Transactions Legal. Drive seamless transaction transitions to HR partners during the period between signing and deal closing while completing business case documentation and financial modeling for SET/Board approval. Maintain the M&A framework for HR, build tools that drive consistency and speed, and operate independently to deliver solutions to internal and external partners. Execute on diverse special initiatives by developing effective HR plans, ensuring compliance with legal/regulatory requirements, and influencing cross-functional partners to deliver integrated solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • university degree with emphasis in business management, economics, mathematics, finance or post-graduate studies in Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
  • Proven track record executing, administering, and designing competitive total rewards programs
  • Significant experience in a numerical/analytical capacity with the ability to review and analyze data and present findings to senior business leaders
  • Superior consulting, problem solving, and analytical skills
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proven management and leadership skills and must be able to persuade and influence colleagues from other areas in order to obtain cooperation in achieving objectives
  • Proven project management skills, with an ability to provide oversight and coordination of multiple projects/changing priorities concurrently under tight timelines and with multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as manage a team
  • Ability to manage changing priorities and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Prior M&A experience is considered an asset
