Job Summary
Senior Manager, Communications & Content to drive Flexport's narrative across press, blog, social channels, and customer communications; responsible for end-to-end PR strategy, media pitching, relationships with reporters, thought leadership development, coaching spokespeople, and coordinating content strategy across blog, webinars, website, and other owned channels; collaborate with Product Marketing and Growth Marketing to support campaigns and launches; leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in drafting, editing, media monitoring, and workflows; ensure timely, accurate, and on-brand customer communications during high-stakes moments like policy shifts or service disruptions.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience spanning PR, communications, and content
- Experience building relationships with reporters and outlets in logistics, trade, technology, and business
- Experience as a communications partner to senior executives (preparing leaders for interviews, developing thought leadership platforms)
- Ability to write and build scalable content programs
- Experience owning customer communications in a B2B environment during complex moments like service changes, pricing updates, or industry disruptions
- Ability to move fast, manage multiple workstreams, and exercise good judgment on messaging
- Familiarity with logistics, supply chain, or trade industry is a strong plus (or ability to learn quickly)
- Active use of AI tools to drive efficiencies across content production, media monitoring, research, and workflow automation
