Job Summary
Senior Manager, Commercial Servicing/Underwriting Team at TruStage leads a P&C Commercial Service Team, driving servicing objectives and implementing servicing and efficiency strategies. Responsible for recruiting, training, coaching, and performance management of staff; provides underwriting guidance to team members; collaborates with Claims, Product Administration, Product, and Sales to meet performance targets; ensures adherence to policies, processes, and applicable federal/state laws; supports career development and quality assurance through regular performance reviews and metrics analysis; requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration, with emphasis on process improvement, customer experience, and regulatory compliance. Supports hybrid work arrangements and communicates changes across teams; possesses strong written and verbal communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; proficient in MS Office and SharePoint; 5+ years of Commercial P&C experience preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or equivalent, along with 7+ years of relevant experience and 4-6 years of leadership experience, are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- 4-6 years prior experience directly and indirectly leading medium sized teams
- Demonstrated ability to effectively develop, manage and execute plans
- Demonstrated effective communication, interpersonal and team-building and coaching skills
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to apply sound judgment and make effective decisions
- Prior experience with project management methodology strongly preferred
- Advanced technical/computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point
Desired Qualifications
- Applicable Underwriting professional designations are highly desirable
- Experience with QA and performance metrics
- Strong leadership and coaching experience in medium-sized teams
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
- Ability to navigate federal and state regulations and ensure compliance
