Senior Manager - Commercial Forecasting

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end forecasting for pipeline and inline assets, building discussions on assumptions, drivers, and scenarios with global and U.S.-based teams. Synthesize forecasts for executive review and act as a strategic partner to commercial, finance, and medical leaders by translating market events into business implications. Drive cross-regional alignment on forecast assumptions and develop capabilities that integrate AI and automation tools to improve efficiency. Mentor junior team members and contract resources while establishing best practices for continuous improvement. Coordinate closely with cross-functional stakeholders across Commercial, Finance, Medical, and Value & Access to develop executive-ready outputs. Work on-site three days a week in the Amgen India Hyderabad office.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of relevant experience in forecasting, commercial analytics, or data science
- Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
Desired Qualifications
- Deep understanding of forecasting in pharma (global or U.S.) including pipeline and inline portfolios
- Hands-on experience building and reviewing Excel-based models and simulation techniques
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities
- Ability to influence across functions and geographies
- Familiarity with AI tools, predictive analytics, and agentic platforms
- Strong communicator with ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
