Job Summary
Lead the Engineering and Construction team's commercial leadership, developing and negotiating contract packages while overseeing contract administration for pre-contract and delivery phases. Manage the contracting process by determining tender processes, defining commercial structures with Legal, and leading negotiations with suppliers, consultants, and contractors on scopes and key terms. Provide oversight during construction by reviewing monthly contract reports to assess commercial risks and strategic relationships. Establish contract administration processes, ensure compliance with the Commercial Management Plan, and implement new initiatives to improve business growth. Represent ACCIONA Energía in industry forums and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Business, Commerce, Law, Engineering, Construction or related discipline
- 10+ years' experience in commercial, contracts or project delivery roles
- Experience leading commercial teams on major construction, infrastructure or energy projects
- Strong contract negotiation, administration and commercial risk management skills
- Proven ability to develop commercial strategies and manage governance processes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and experience working with Legal, Procurement and Project teams
