Senior Manager, Clinical Applications & Data Integration

Job Summary
Lead a team of Clinical Applications Specialists to drive proactive practice engagement, workflow optimization, and clinical data enablement across the partner network. Serve as the subject matter expert for EHR systems, owning complex issue resolution end-to-end and establishing escalation standards. Partner with Practice Transformation Managers and internal technology teams to align EHR optimization with value-based care goals. Develop standardized workflow guidance, templates, and playbooks to enhance data capture at the point of care. Manage clinical data integration activities, including data feed operations, vendor coordination, and integration deployments, ensuring data accuracy. Identify and remediate data gaps in collaboration with engineering and vendors. Own QRDA I file acquisition and submission operations, including extraction coordination and error follow-up. Lead point-of-care workflow tool implementation and adoption across the partner network. Translate field-level findings into actionable inputs for engineering remediation efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare data integration, EHR operations, or clinical application management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze clinical workflows, advise on documentation and coding practices, and drive EHR optimization at the point of care
- Demonstrated experience supporting ACO programs including MSSP, ACO REACH, or Medicare Advantage
- Hands-on experience with EHR integrations – setting up integrations, troubleshooting data quality issues, and coordinating with vendors on resolution
- Experience with EHR platforms including Epic, Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Oracle (Cerner), Practice Fusion, or similar systems
- Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, CCD-A, QRDA I, and flat file clinical data standards
- Experience working within cloud-based data environments (Databricks, Azure, or equivalent) in an operational validation or data quality capacity
- Prior people management or team lead experience required
- SQL proficiency sufficient to query and validate data and identify field-level gaps
- Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills
- Excellent organizational and communication skills with an emphasis on problem-solving and accountability through resolution
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the clinical data model or similar standardized clinical data frameworks
- Experience coordinating with engineering teams in sprint-based delivery environments, including user story validation and acceptance criteria review
- Experience with clinical workflow and integration tools that embed insights at the point of care
- Familiarity with clinical data aggregation platforms
- Experience working with data quality monitoring frameworks and clinical data completeness validation
- Familiarity with CEHRT requirements and CMS regulatory compliance processes for value-based care programs
- Demonstrated experience supporting ACO programs including MSSP, ACO REACH, or Medicare Advantage
- Experience working directly with provider practices, clinical staff, or Practice Transformation teams to optimize EHR workflows and documentation practices
- Knowledge of clinical workflow analysis techniques and structured data capture strategies
