Job Summary
Senior Manager, City Operations Program Management leads cross-functional program management across City Operations, developing and maintaining the integrated City Operations roadmap, owning the City Operations budget model, and synthesizing complex information into executive-ready updates for leadership. This role interfaces with municipal partners and internal teams to drive coordination, milestones, risk tracking, and financial planning for the 2028 Olympic & Paralympic Games, requiring 7+ years of related experience and a Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred). The position is onsite in Downtown Los Angeles with a base salary range of $105,000–$140,000 and no relocation assistance. Responsibilities include coordinating priorities across multiple workstreams, ensuring alignment between operational plans and city resources, and delivering clear recommendations to senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 7+ years of experience in program management, finance, business operations or a related field, or 5+ years management consulting in related fields
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and project management platforms
- Strong analytical skills with experience building financial models, budgets, schedules or service plans
- Experience managing large teams and programs from ideation to execution
- Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Experience in start-up environment
- Familiarity with operational management software such as Smartsheet, Google Earth Pro, ArcGIS, or AutoCAD
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
