Senior Manager, Change Lead – Risk Assessment (Fixed Term)

Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end uplift of Western Union's EWRA ML/TF risk assessment, ensuring regulatory alignment and operational effectiveness. Design and deliver enhancements to inherent and residual risk methodologies across customers, products/services, channels, and jurisdictions; ensure risk ratings are clearly defined, evidence-based, and inform AML/CTF controls. Act as the accountable Change Lead for scope, roadmap, milestones, and governance, coordinating cross-functional delivery across local, regional, and global teams. Prepare high-quality materials for governance forums and ensure auditable, defensible documentation for regulatory reviews. Role based in Sydney, Australia on a fixed-term 12-month basis, with a requirement to work from the office a minimum of three days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree preferred
- Professional AML/CTF certifications highly desirable
- At least 7+ years of experience in AML/CTF compliance
