Senior Manager, Change Lead – Affiliates (Fixed Term)

Job Summary
Lead end-to-end AML/CTF capability uplift across Western Union's retail affiliate network; design, deliver and embed AML/CTF initiatives, including policy rollout, training, risk assessment, and enhanced due diligence; establish governance, documentation, and stakeholder engagement; partner with local, regional and global teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and AUSTRAC regulatory expectations. Role requires coordinating cross-functional delivery across compliance, risk, operations, technology and data, with a focus on embedding sustainable controls and delivering change within a 12-month fixed-term period in Sydney; ideal candidates will have 7+ years of AML/CTF experience, knowledge of CDD/OCDD/ECDD, and strong leadership and executive communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree preferred
- At least 7+ years of experience in AML/CTF compliance
- Professional certifications in AML/CTF or risk management (e.g. CAMS or equivalent) highly desirable
- Experience in regulatory settings desirable
- Strong governance, stakeholder management and executive communication capability
- Experience delivering AML/CTF risk assessment uplifts in response to regulatory reform
