Senior Manager, Category Sourcing

Job Summary
Lead execution and management of corporate sourcing initiatives for direct or indirect categories supporting data center infrastructure, including Electrical, Mechanical, SG&A, IT, MRO, Facilities Maintenance, and Data Connectivity. Negotiate complex competitive programs, own enterprise agreements, and communicate value propositions to line of business stakeholders. Coach and develop a team of category sourcing managers while serving as the day-to-day leader for assigned managers. Develop world-class category management strategies, ensure contract portfolios remain current, and leverage buying power to enhance commercial terms. Execute supplier selection activities, including RFI/RFP development and bid analysis, while monitoring performance management initiatives to elevate team productivity. Stay attuned to market dynamics to react to new challenges and drive process improvements with the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply-Chain, or Engineering
- Business Administration, Management, Operations, Finance, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Seven or more years of relevant experience in Sourcing, Procurement, and/or Supply-Chain
- Three or more years leading a procurement sourcing team
- Experience in contract development, execution, negotiation, and management of vendor relationships more than $50M in annual value
Desired Qualifications
- Procurement certification (e.g., ISM CPSM)
- MBA, Master of Supply Chain
- Experience working for or supporting a data center provider (multi-tenant data center, hyperscale user, or equipment provider)
