Job Summary
Senior Manager, Care Management leads the Care Management team, overseeing large-scale care management initiatives, staff supervision, development of department policies, and regulatory audits. Responsible for quality improvement, documentation of workflows, and ensuring compliance with DHCS, DMHC, and NCQA requirements. Builds and guides a high-performing team of Clinical Supervisors, Care Management Nurses and Coordinators; responsible for department metrics, budget oversight, and collaboration with enterprise functions. Hybrid role based in Downtown San Francisco with on-site requirement of at least 4 days per month. Requires RN or licensed clinician background with 3+ years in care management and 3+ years in leadership; Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred); bilingual skills (Spanish or Cantonese) are desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse or Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LCSW, LMFT) with 3+ years of care management experience within a managed care setting
- Bachelor's degree in a related area required; Masters degree preferred
- Demonstrated leadership experience with 3 years of experience in a supervisory or team lead role
- Bi-lingual Spanish or Cantonese, desirable but not required
- Experience with Care Management program development and evaluation
- Knowledge of and experience with state and federal insurance programs preferred
